Mount Carmel College is a year 7 to 12 Catholic, co-educational, comprehensive college serving the parishes of Campbelltown, Eagle Vale, Ingleburn, Macquarie Fields, Ruse and Varroville, suburbs of the Macarthur region. The College has a student population of 1127 supported by 276 members of staff. Mount Carmel Catholic College is a part of Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong.

Underlying our individual goals, our College aims to provide an opportunity for students to achieve academic, sporting and social excellence whilst promoting a Christ-centred community. The College is organised to provide many and varied opportunities in Curriculum and Co-Curricular structures. Students are able to complete studies to achieve excellent Higher School Certificate results or alternately undertake vocational pathways.

Mount Carmel College is a member of the MacArthur Independent Schools’ Association (MISA) which involves our students participating in sporting and cultural activities with surrounding non-government schools. We are also regularly represented in Diocesan competitions and many of our elite athletes have continued on to state and national representation.

The spirit of the College is summarised in the mission statement: Mount Carmel Catholic College, guided by prayer and through spiritual formation, aspires to be a Catholic community reflecting gospel values. The students receive a holistic Catholic education in the Marist tradition, with the aim of attaining moral, academic and personal excellence. To put this succinctly;

Mount Carmel Catholic College is a Christ-centred community which provides opportunities for excellence.

As a Catholic, faith based community, we recognise that education is most successful when it is a partnership between the College and the parents. At Mount Carmel, we aim to encourage and support this partnership to ensure the greatest opportunities for all our students. I trust that this website will provide you with a small insight into who we are and what we do.
